All the Shire's playhouses come pre-treated in a water based honey brown product. You can however, pay a small extra charge to have you playhouse delivered with a pressure treatment.

With this treatment a preservative is forced into the timber, to protect from wood rot and fungus. If you choose this option, you will no longer be required to treat your palyhouse with a preservative again.

This treatment is almost colourless, other than a slight green tint, as shown in image.
